Today we trekked to a couple of hill tribe villages. Before we got underway the sellers did their stuff. The ladies with the indigo outfits are H'mong and the others the red Dzao.
They H'mong sellers followed us all the way to their village. Making us horses and other shapes from bamboo and ferns along the way. Who would have thought there'd be a selling frenzy when we got there? There wares were very nice. After some haggling Sue bought a wall hanging and everyone was happy.
Idyllic scenery along the 14km trek.
The bridge in this photo is actually an aquaduct for the hydro power station which is being built in what seems to be the main street of the village. Seemed like an odd place to build it.
The overnight rain made the trails muddy and slippery. Today's walk was much more interesting.
Tonight's restaurant was under the m...assage sign.
